PlayUp purchased betting.club from 3 Australian club associations. These are: Campsie RSL, Club Rivers and the iconic Mounties Group. Each of these 3 clubs operates under a strict regulatory environment (NSW Clubs Act). They also comply with Federal ASIC, KYC, AML, Privacy legislation and a number of other legislative requirements.

Other PlayUp Acquisitions

Another purchase it made was the ClassicBet bookmaker, which is an online telephone betting platform. ClassicBet handles wagers if AU$200 million in a year in the region.
PlayUp has also added TopBetta to their Australian purchases. TopBetta is a retail bookmaking operations provider. This deal cost was AU$6 million in cash and also AU$800 million in PlayChip Utility token cryptocurrency.
PlayChip is a cryptocurrency that was designed by PlayUp. PlayChip is based on the Ethereum cryptocurrency.
Daniel Simic, the CEO of PlayUp, says that the company plans to be fully-integrated. It also plans to be a block-chain enabled global fantasy sports, online betting and gaming ecosystem. The aim is to allow gamblers to compete, collect and connect. This is regardless of where they are in the world.
Some websites have said that PlayUp.com has over 400 000 registered players. PlayUp offers gamblers the platform to create their fantasy teams. They then play daily fantasy challenges. The winners of the challenges get rewarded with PlayChips. These PlayChips are used at the site’s store.
Simic further said that PlayUp wants to enhance the community and social focus. At the same time, the PlayChip will be integrated for wagering and offerings.
